This week I organised a field trip visit to Studsvik for my students in the Nuclear Fuel Cycle course at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. We visited Studsvik, Cyclife and AB Svafo, and got to see all the important, unique and inspiring work all those companies do and learn about their great contributions to the nuclear industry in Sweden. Also, I got the unique opportunity to use the robotic arm with the help of which the radioactive spent nuclear fuel is treated inside the hot cell facilities.
