I recently came back from a visit to the Äspö Hard Rock laboratory in Oskarshamn, Sweden. There I had the unique opportunity to visit and learn about the work done by Svensk Kärnbränslehantering AB, SKB and the Swedish plan for permanent storage of spent nuclear fuel.
